Paul seeks most of his inspiration for his playing from life's natural ebb and flow. Initially
inspired by bassists such as Geddy Lee, Geezer Butler and Craig McGregor he now seeks
inspiration from the plethora of talented underground bassists present in club/festival
circuit.
Having played in such diverse projects such as Granite Core, Effusion, Stone Mary, The Quarter
Ouncers, Rick Kline and the Kids in the Yard, Farmhouse and more recently The Outta Body
Experience, Paul has entertained everything from classic metal, seventies rock, Alternative
Rock, Jazz and Bluegrass.
Whether it be a slow ballad or intricate exploration or powerful progression, Paul loves to
feel the music shake. As one of the Quintet's writer/arrangers, he has been allowed to
entertain some of those desires musically and finds complete joy in doing so. "As long as you
