Since the age of 13,
Dave has had only one mission in life, "To Make People Dance."
Of course, in the 80's, people were dancing to the beat of a different drum in the small town of
Crofton, MD. This is where Dave's musical journey began. A journey that would take him all over
the United States, performing with some of the most talented musicians of our time. Dave's style
of music has evolved to encompass a wide variety of musical styles. One of the most important aspects
of Dave's playing is his love for improvising. "I play with anyone who wants to play all in the name
of music, regardless of their style or technical ability…You learn something every time you play with
someone, even if its what not to do." Dave has performed on both guitar and/or the drum kit with such
acts as: Torsion, Altered Edge, Liquid Ted, Real Good Friends with a Pretty Nice Bigfoot, Hope for
the Flowers, Keif-n-Box, The Jeff Debonis Band, Rick Kline and the Kids in the Yard, and currently
The Bubba Quintet. These various groups have given Dave the opportunity to work in a studio, get
airtime on the radio (WRNR 103.1) and perform on festival stages in front of thousands. "Music is
my timeless activity, Music is my drug, Music is my sanctuary, Music is my Life" |
